An all-round experience
The objective of club activities, and extra-curricular initiatives in general, is to promote ideas and foster interaction not only within the Bocconi community, but also with the business community through activities focused on management, education and networking, as well as through annual sports competitions between participants in top international MBA programs.
Student and Alumni Clubs are cross-master and give the opportunity to work and network with students from the other SDA Bocconi Master Programs. They are managed by students in collaboration with the School Staff and Faculty.
Practical laboratories for new ideas and networking opportunities, clubs also represent a way of putting managerial skills to the test. Club events cover a wide range of initiatives: from charity to sports, from business competitions to luxury weekends. The Clubs are also an important crossroads where students work with alumni, teachers and the business world around areas of common interest.
SDA Bocconi Clubs:
DiVino, Entrepreneur, Ethica, Finance, Football, Healthcare, Luxury Arts, Mgmt & Consulting, Marketing, Motor, Running, Sailing, Ski.

It brings together students and alumni of the world’s top business schools with managers from leading Italian and international organizations. A conference on emerging issues also takes place alongside the regatta: students, alumni and guests from universities, industry and finance join together for an exchange of ideas. The 2012 edition of the regatta took place in Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino. Through the years the event hosted schools such as Harvard, Tuck, Wharton and London Business School.ù
"Being part of the Sailing Club and its incredible events has been one of the most enriching experiences of my MBA. From networking and team-building to sailing and partying in stunning locations, the Sailing Club really has something for all tastes. Being a member of the club's board enabled me to share my long-time passion for sailing through learning opportunities and by planning our signature events: the SDA Bocconi Sailing Weekend and the Rolex MBA's Conference and Regatta. To hear all the wonderful comments and feel the enjoyment from the participants made the hard work from my team worth every minute!"
