Claudio Zara is Researcher of the Department of Finance at Bocconi University.
At SDA Bocconi, since 2005, he has been director of the Financial Analysis Programme of the Banking and Insurance Department. He taught in the Master MPI (1997-2007), he coordinated the Merchant Banking project of the Banking and Insurance Department (1997-1998) and he taught in the MBA (1995-96). Since 1992, he has been involved in several projects in the fields of research and training in favour of the main financial and banking entities in Italy.
His research focuses in the main field of corporate banking and finance. More in details focus is on venture capital and private equity; on corporate and investment banking; on financial analysis and valuation; on the relationship between finance and green business and circular economy.
He is the author of several books and articles on the subject. His articles were published in refereed journals, such as International Journal of Wine Business Research, Economia & Management, Bancaria and Finanza, Marketing e Produzione. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Credem Private Equity SGR. He serves as Financial Adviser in the Register of Advisers and Experts hold by the Milan Chamber of Commerce. He was Visiting Fellow in some international universities, including the National University of Singapore and the Warwick Business School (University of Warwick). He won the SDA-DIBA Prize "Excellence in Innovation" in 2013 and the SDA Prize “Best Executive Teacher” in 2005.
Claudio graduated in Business Administration, specialization in Accounting and Control, from Bocconi University and he got an ITP (International Teachers Programme) degree at the London Business School.
