The program consists of five training modules focused on the fundamental aspects that characterize the management of Public Administrations.
Francesco Vidè is Lecturer in Government, Health and Not for Profit at SDA Bocconi School of Management. Since 2020, he coordinates the Government Academy, overseeing the catalog of SDA Bocconi executive open courses designed for public managers and civil servants. Francesco is actively involved in research projects, educational programs and action research on organizational design and strategic human resource management within public-sector organizations, spanning both local and central levels. His research interests focus on competency-based human resource management practices, such as competency models, skill-gap analysis, performance appraisal, training and development, recruitment and selection in the public sector.
Francesco’s contributions extend to numerous reports, articles and working papers on performance and human resource management in the public sector. He is a co-author of the book “La valutazione della performance individuale. Dalla ricerca alla pratica” and has authored two chapters in the book “Reactive PA. Lezioni dalla pandemia per il cambiamento della pubblica amministrazione”.
He is involved in teaching activities at the Executive Master in Management of Public Administrations (EMMAP) and various other executive open and custom courses. He contributes to the PNRR Lab and SDABocconi4Government project, aimed at supporting the necessary changes in public organizations for PNRR government funds.
Francesco holds a Master's degree in Economics and Management of Government and International Organizations from Bocconi University and is Ph.D. candidate in Public Management and Governance at the University of Rome - Tor Vergata.
