Francesco Vidè is Junior Lecturer in Government, Health and Not for Profit at SDA Bocconi School of Management. Since 2020 he coordinates the Government Academy, the executive open program for public managers and civil servants.
Francesco carries out research projects, education programs and action research on strategic human resource management in public-sector organizations, both at local and central levels. His research interests focus on competency-based human resource management tools and practices, such as competency models, skill-gap analysis, performance appraisal, training and development, recruitment and selection in the public sector.
Francesco has contributed to many reports, articles and international working papers on performance management and strategic human resource management in the Public Administration. He is co-author of the book “La valutazione della performance individuale. Dalla ricerca alla pratica” and of two chapters of the book “Reactive PA. Lezioni dalla pandemia per il cambiamento della pubblica amministrazione”.
He is member of the faculty of the network SMARTAPLAB, carries out teaching activities at the Executive Master in Management of Public Administrations (EMMAP) and other executive courses He has contributed to the SDABocconi4Government project, whose target is to support the changes required to public entities for PNRR government funds.
Francesco holds a Master's degree in Economics and Management of Government and International Organizations at Bocconi University. He is PhD candidate in Public Management and Governance at Università di Roma Tor Vergata.
