Rachele Anconetani

Rachele Anconetani is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Finance Department at SDA Bocconi School of Management and a Contract Professor of Corporate Finance, Financial Management, and Mergers & Acquisitions at Università Bocconi.

At SDA Bocconi, she has participated in numerous research and consulting projects, collaborating with leading public and private institutions. She serves as Head of Research of the Best Performance Award and is a researcher at the Acquire Lab; previously, she was a member of the Scientific Committee of the Corporate Welfare Lab. Since 2019, she has contributed to the coordination of the Banking & Finance Concentration of the Executive MBA.

Her research activities focus on corporate finance and extraordinary finance, particularly in the areas of M&A, SPACs, IPOs, corporate governance, and the role of human capital in firm valuations. She has also collaborated on national and international research projects on corporate sustainability.

She is co-author of Principles of Contemporary Corporate Finance (Bocconi University Press, 2026). Her research has been published in journals including The Journal of Technology Transfer, Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development, Journal of Property Investment & Finance, Journal of European Real Estate Research, and Economia & Management, as well as on SDA Bocconi Insight.

Rachele graduated cum laude in Accounting, Financial Management and Control from Università Bocconi and earned a Ph.D. in Business and Management from the University of Turin.
