Through the Public Service Behavioral LabSDA Bocconi is committed to publishing accurate surveys that are directly intended for research community participants. Survey questions are sent to e-mail addresses provided by each individual participant at registration. Survey answers, on the other hand, which are confidential, are anonymously collected and aggregated in monthly reports on the public sector.
The data and the relationships then become the principle sources of academic articles published in sector specific magazines.

Stakeholder

The SDA Bocconi Public Service Behavioral Lab is intended for public administration directors and public employees with close and direct contact with consumers, and university students interested in starting a career in the public sector.

Registration with the Public Service Behavioral Lab is free of charge. Once completed, each registered participant can create a profile, inputting their main personal information which can be changed and / deleted at any time.

Methodology

PSRCommunity is an online panel of public service professionals who volunteer to sign up over the Internet to participate in web-based surveys and studies. Panelists are recruited primarily from announcements posted on professional websites or print media, email notices to various professional organizations, and from universities with public affairs programs.

It is important to point out that the panel is not a random sample drawn from all public and nonprofit sector employees. Survey results are, however, weighted by gender, race, age, and geography to more closely reflect the demographic profile of the relevant study population.
