Giovanni Fosti is Associate Professor of Practice of Government, Health and Not for Profit at SDA Bocconi School of Management. He is a Contract Professor of "Economics of Enterprises and Public Administrations" at Bocconi University and responsible for CeRGAS Bocconi Social and Social Services Area.
At SDA Bocconi, he was Director of the Master EMMAP (Executive Master in Management delle Amministrazioni Pubbliche)form 2009 to 2013, Director of the Master EMMEL (Executive Master in Management degli Enti Locali)from 2008 to 2010 and Director of the Master MMP (Master in Management Pubblico)from 2006 to 2009. He conducted research and training projects for Italian regional institutions, local institutions, healthcare companies and non-profit companies.
His research activities focus on public administrations, on social and residential services. The main areas of research are: innovation processes in welfare systems; public governance, institutional arrangements and forms of management in social services and healthcare partner; strategy and service management; programming and service networks.
He is the author of numerous books and articles on the subject. His latest publication, in 2014, is “Il welfare e la Long Term Care in Europa”. Since 2008, he is member of the Faculty MPA/MPM International Summer School.
Giovanni earned a Degree in Economia Aziendale from Bocconi University.
