Giovanni Fosti

Biography

Giovanni Fosti is a Professor of Practice in Welfare and Social Innovation at SDA Bocconi School of Management and a Contract Professor of Economics and Management of Public Administrations at Università Bocconi.

At SDA Bocconi, he served as Director of the Executive Master in Management of Public Administrations (EMMAP) from 2009 to 2013, Director of the Executive Master in Management of Local Governments (EMMEL) from 2008 to 2010, and Director of the Master in Public Management (MMP) from 2006 to 2009. He has led numerous research and executive education projects in collaboration with regional governments, local authorities, healthcare organizations, and non-profit institutions. From 2011 to 2018, he was Head of the Social and Health Care Services Area at CERGAS Bocconi.

His research focuses on public administrations, social services, and health and social care systems. His main areas of expertise include welfare system innovation, public governance, institutional arrangements and management models in social and health care services, strategy and service management, and networks for service planning and delivery.

He is the author of numerous academic and professional publications on these topics.

Giovanni holds a degree in Business Administration from Università Bocconi.
