Francesca Meda is a Lecturer at the Government, Health and Not For Profit (GHNP) Area at SDA Bocconi School of Management, with which she has been collaborating since 2019. She is also a researcher at the School's Centre for Research on Health and Social Care (CERGAS) in the Social Policy and Service Management Area.
Her research interests and scientific publications mainly concern topics related to the design of services of public interest, innovation processes in welfare systems, health and social health services, strategic management in the health and proximity care sector. She has participated in several research and education projects related to public services design, innovation in health and social health services, monitoring and strategic support for the implementation of public policies and interventions.
Her work has been published in international and national journals such as Health Services Management Research, Mecosan, Monitor. She is a regular contributor to the OASI Report on the state of health of the National Health Service. She is the author of books dedicated to the innovation of local welfare and the management of proximity care services.
She holds a Master's Degree in Economics and Management of Governance and International Organizations from Università Bocconi. She is currently a PhD Student in Management Innovation, Sustainability and Healthcare at the Sant'Anna University School of Advanced Studies in Pisa.
