Simona Cuomo is Associate Professor of Leadership, Organization & Human Resources’ practice at SDA Bocconi School of Management. She is Coordinator of the Diversity & Inclusion & Smart Working Observatory since 2008. Simona is a psychologist and a certificated counselor and coach.
Her researches and competencies focus on social identity (gender, age, disability, etc.), inclusive leadership, practices and policies to promote inclusive climate (smart working, work & life balance, parenting policies) and issues related to listening, enhancing and managing people at work (leadership, self leadership, people management, negotiation, public speaking, team management, listening, feedback management and conflict, stress management, emotional intelligence, assertiveness).
She studies and uses creative and experiential methods in both training and coaching.
She has conducted several researches, workshops, conferences, consultancy, work out, and a multi method-target training. She did so by developing relationships with major multinational companies of the Italian market in three main sectors: services ( Banca Italia, BPM, Accenture, Generali), pharma ( Boheringher, Novartis) and manufacturing (Eni, Michelin, Nestlè).
She is the author of several books and articles on the subject. Her works have been published in “Economia & Management”, “Sviluppo & Organizzazione”, and “ECCH Collection” among others. She is a member of many Scientific Commitees and Advisory Board.
Simona earned firstly a Degree in Political Science, with a specialization in Social Psychology from the Catholic University in Milan; a Degree in Psychology from the University of Bicocca in Milan; a Master and a Counseling certification from Centro Berne in Milan; a Master and a Coaching certification from In Coach Academy and the Affiliate coaching qualification from Columbia University.
She is married and she has got three children.
