Giovanni Tomasi is Associate Professor of Practice of Accounting and Control at SDA Bocconi School of Managementand he is Director of Corporate Custom Programs - Claudio Dematté Corporate and Financial Institutions Division. He is Contract Professor of Planning and Control at Bocconi University.
At SDA Bocconi, he was Executive MBA Director and Senior Lecturer of Planning & Control. He conducted numerous research, training and consulting projects for some important companies in the entertainment, chemical-pharmaceutical and luxury goods industry.
His research activities focus on measurement systems and performance management, planning and control systems in multinational groups and accounting and cost management systems. Currently, he is analyzing two key topics: performance management and cost management.
He is the author of numerous books and articles on the subject. His works have been published in La Valutazione delle Aziende, Economia & Management and I processi di crescita delle PMI, among others. He was Visiting Scholar at Stockholm School of Economics and Anderson School of Business (University of California); he cooperates with the Art, Science and Knowledge (ASK) research center.
Giovanni earned a Degree in Business Economics from Bocconi University and a Ph.D. in Economics of Institutions and Business Systems from Catholic University in Milan.
