Giacomo Morri, Ph.D., MRICS, is the Faculty Deputy and an Associate Professor of Practice in Corporate Finance and Real Estate at SDA Bocconi School of Management and a Real Estate Finance lecturer at Università Bocconi.
He has been the director of the Master in Real Estate of the Executive Master in Corporate Finance and Banking and he has been in charge of real estate executive education.
Following his degree in Business Administration at Università Bocconi, he obtained his Ph.D. in Finance at the Università degli Studi di Trieste. He was a visiting scholar in the Department of Real Estate at the University of Reading and a visiting researcher at Cass Business School, City University, London. He was a visiting professor at the MBA in Hospitality Management IMHI at ESSEC Business School and is currently a visiting professor at ISEG Universidade de Lisboa.
He is a freelance advisor for several real estate companies and asset managers, and he is the non-executive director at UnipolSai Investimenti SGR. He serves on the advisory board for several real estate funds. He is an Italian chartered accountant and statutory auditor and an expert in real estate litigation and valuation.
He is the past president and board member of the editorial board of the Journal of European Real Estate Research and Territorio Italia.
He is Member, Registered Valuer and Assessor of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and in the Bocconi Alumni Community he is the Faculty expert on Corporate Finance and Real Estate.
He has published several books and articles on real estate, finance, appraisal, REITs and investment funds.
