Aristea Saputo is a Junior Researcher of sustainability at SDA Bocconi School of Management.
At SDA Bocconi, she has being collaborating with the Sustainability Lab since 2018. She also collaborates with the AGRI Lab – Agribusiness research institute and with the SEE Lab – Space Economy Evolution, for the aspects related to sustainability. She has carried out multi-sectoral sustainability studies for primary companies, public institutions and non-profit organizations.
Her research activities focus on social and environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility within supply-chain management, change and innovation management, and organizational and decision-making processes. Among the analyzed industries: agriculture, food and beverage, energy, utilities, textile, fishing, land and sea transport.
Aristea has co-authored the report “Business for Ocean Sustainability – A focus on the Mediterranean Sea” and its following edition “Business for Ocean Sustainability – A global perspective”, presented at the UN World Ocean Day 2020. She also co-authored “Business for Ocean Sustainability – The Fashion industry”, a spin-off report focusing on the pressures exerted by textile companies on the ocean, and the article “Sustainability Leaders for the Preservation of the Oceans”, published on Economia&Management in 2020.
She earned a Master's Degree in Economics and Social Sciences and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Management for Arts, Culture and Communication, both from Bocconi University. She was also a visiting student at Sciences Po, Reims.
