Daniele Alesani

Ph.D, SDA Bocconi Fellow Public Management and Policy. He holds an MBA from the University of Geneva and a phd in Public Administration and Management from University of Parma. In his professional and academic career he has extensively worked on the main issues related to financial management, change management, organizational development and business process improvement in public sector organizations. Currently Daniele is Management Specialist at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Nicola Bellè

Luca Brusati
Ph.D, is SDA Fellow, Public Management and Policy and Chair of the Board of Net Europe IT & Public Administration, a public-private, cross-border joint venture delivering e-government solutions. From 1999 to 2001 he served in the WHO European Regional Office in Copenhagen as Adviser for Health Services Management (P5). Former advisor for: UN, WHO, UNDP, UNICEF, UNAIDS, World Bank, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria. He has been a visiting scholar in the USA and Germany and a visiting professor in Austria, Malta, Poland, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.  Member of the EU Advisory Committee.

Leonardo Caporarello

Ph.D, is the Director of the Learning Lab at SDA Bocconi School of Management and SDA Professor of Leadership & Managerial Development. Leonardo has a long and broad experience in designing and teaching graduate and executive education programs, and he’s also a faculty member of the Global Executive MBA at SDA Bocconi School of Management, where he’s the coordinator of organizational design, and negotiation courses. He got a specialization on Negotiation at the Harvard Law School. Leonardo has been visiting professor at the Keio University in Tokyo (Japan) and Fudan University in Shanghai (China) and visiting scholar at the Michigan State University (USA).

Michael Emery

SDA Fellow of Public Management and Policy and HR Director at United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), previously HR executive in several International Organizations including UNDP and IOM.

Giunia Valeria Gatta
Phd, is adjunct professor at Bocconi University and teaches political philosophy and political science in the Department of Policy Analysis and Public Management at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. She previously taught political theory at Columbia University, The Ohio State University, and the University of Minnesota. Her research interests lie at the intersection of political theory and international relations.

Alexander M. Hiedemann
SDA Professor at the Public Management and Policy Division of SDA Bocconi School of Management and Teaching Assistant (20516 - Management of International Organizations and NGO's) at Bocconi University. His area of expertise is Operations Management, with a particular focus on Lean Management and Process Improvement in the public sector, both at national and international level. He is involved in several training programs (executive and custom programs) and research projects with the European Commission, INPS, ARPA, TIM and other public sector bodies.

Greta Nasi

Ph.D, Director for Research for Government at SDA Bocconi School of Management. Associate Professor of Public Management, Bocconi University. Member of the editorial board of Public Management Review and Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis. Member of the board of International Research Society of Public Management. Member of the OECD Associate group for the Observatory in Public Sector Innovation. Visiting Professor at numerous international universities, as well as researcher and member of the Editorial Board of OCAP, she published numerous academic publications on innovation in the public sector and has been Project Head of projects related to innovation and knowledge management in national and international organizations.

Federico Lega

Ph.D, is Director of the Master in International Healthcare Management, Economics and Policy (MIHMEP) of SDA Bocconi. Associate Professor, Department of Institutional Analysis and Public Management, Bocconi University. Adjunct professor, University of Alabama, Department of Health Administration. MIHMEP Director at SDA Bocconi. Member of Network NISPA, IPMN and EGPA. From September 2015 he’s the chief editor of Health Services Management Research.

Valentina Mele
Ph.D,  SDA Professor at the Public Management and Policy Division. She is also an Associate professor at the Department of Policy Analysis and Public Management and Director of the Msc in Economics & Management of Government and International Organizations (GIO) – Bocconi University. She has been a visiting professor at Fudan University, Shanghai and at Bethlehem University, Palestine. She is a permanent visiting professor of the Université de Genève. Her studies on International Organizations have received the International Geneva Award (2011 and 2015). She holds a Master in Public Policy & Administration from Columbia University and a phd in Management from the London School of Economics

Eduardo Missoni

SDA Fellow and Professor at the Bocconi University. His teachings and research activities include Management of International Institutions and Non profit Organizations, Global Health and Development related Policymaking and Management. In the past he acted as the liaison officer with WHO and PAHO, represented Italy individually or participating in wider delegations at international meetings (including WHO Executive Board and World Health Assembly) and expert groups (including the G8 health group, that he chaired in 2001). Earlier on, he was a UNICEF officer in Mexico and a medical volunteer in Nicaragua. Between 2004 and 2007, he was the Secretary General of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (the world’s largest youth organization).

Raffaele Secchi

Ph.D, SDA Fellow, Operations & Technology Management Unit at SDA Bocconi School of Management, Assistant Professor at Bocconi University. His studies have been published on international and Italian journals. Recently he has written the books “Supply Chain Management. Strategie, Processi, Performance” e “Supply Chain Management e Made in Italy. Lezioni da nove casi di eccellenza”.

Marco Tortoriello
Ph.D, Associate Dean - Master Division and Director of SDA Bocconi School of Managemet's Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA). Professor at the Department of Management and Technology (Bocconi University). Previously he has been Assistant Professor at the Department of Strategy of the Écoles des Hautes Études Commerciales (until 2009), and an Associate Professor at the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa – IESE Business School. His research focuses on understanding mechanisms and returns to informal network relationships defined within and across organizations.

Veronica Vecchi
Ph.D in Public Management, is Professor of Public Management and Business Government Relations Bocconi University and SDA Professor of Public Management and Policy. She is director of executive education at MISB Bocconi, the Bocconi campus in India. She serves as head of international programs within the SDA Bocconi Public, Healthcare & Non Profit Department. She coordinates Bocconi MP3, the Bocconi University research initiative dedicated to Public Private Partnerships for economic development; the SDA Bocconi Lab for Impact Investments and the SDA Bocconi Public & Private Factory for Healthcare Investments
