Alexander Maximilian Hiedemann is a Lecturer in Government, Health and Not for Profit at SDA Bocconi School of Management and Assistant to the Director of the MSc CYBER - Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance at UniversitĆ Bocconi.
He has collaborated with SDA Bocconi since 2015. Since then, he has conducted research and education projects with primary public administrations at national level (Local Authorities, Public Agencies, Preventive Institutions, Central Administrations) and international organizations (governmental and non-governmental organizations) including EMMIO, the Executive Master in Management of International Organisations (since 2015). In 2018/19, he has been appointed as Director of the Master of Public Administration (MPA).He is a lecturer of courses (open market and custom) on Operation and Risk Management, Process Reengineering, Supply Chain in humanitarian aid and, as part of EMMAP, the Executive Master in Management of Public Administrations, of the module abroad on 'Comparative Public Management and European Institutions'. He has also conducted custom programs and research projects for many public institutions nationally and internationally.
His research activities focus on Operations Management in public administration and international organizations. Recently he has been involved in research groups related to: the tandem application of "Lean" and "Nudge"; digital growth; evolution of sustainable and integrated development models. He has also contributed to research projects focused on "Strategic HR Management", as well as to projects aimed at comparing the selection and appraisal systems of public managers in Europe and the redefinition of top management's collegial work.
He is the author of essays and articles dealing with his topics of interest. Alexander Maximilian earned a degree in Economics and Management of Public Administration and International Institutions from the UniversitĆ degli Studi di Ferrara and an MSc CLAPI - Economics and Management of Public Administration and International Organizations from UniversitĆ Bocconi. He is currently PhD Candidate of the EMIS - Economics and Management of Innovation and Sustainability at the University of Ferrara in partnership with the University of Parma.
