Sicily, November 2022

In Palermo, MAMA students were guided through Palazzo Butera and Abatellis by the Directors, Branciforte by the Vice President of Fondazione Sicilia.  They were then accompanied by the assistant director through the World Heritage Royal Palace and Palatine chapel, experienced a concert rehearsal at Teatro Massimo and met with the marketing director of the theater. In Trapani, they saw the regional museum Pepoli and Segesta the archeological park, accompanied by the superintendent. 

After having the chance to meet the Princess Carine Vanni Mantegna di Gangi in class, students met her again at her Palace Valguarnera Gangi 

Venezia, September 2022
The 8th edition of MAMA just started, and students have already had incredible experiences: after the Welcome Week, they took off to Venice where they visited Biennale Arte 2022 “The milk of dreams”, the Fortuny Museum, recently reopened thanks to the Art Bonus and the FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano) properties Casa Bortoli and negozio Olivetti. They also experienced the concert “Il ritorno di Tobia” at Scuola Grande di San Rocco.
MAMA Grand Tour, June 2022

Two Italian cities have been at the center of our MAMA Grand Tour. First stop, Naples! Here our students immersed themselves in the city's cultural riches through its incredible museums and sites. Then off to Rome and the FOROF, a unique entity that combines archaeology and contemporary art to implement a new cultural entrepreneurship model. They also saw some of the most famous villas and mansions, followed by a visit to Musei Vaticani and meeting some of its outstanding leaders.

MAMA Grand Tour, June 2021
 Every year #MAMA students go on a #GrandTour to discover the beauty and the business behind Italian cultural heritage. 

A 10-days trip around Italy (among others, Lecce, Matera, Salerno, Naples, Vatican, and Rome)  to visit the most important arts & culture institutions, as well as to meet their managers and staff.

SDA Bocconi MAMA went to Sicily: in November 2018 MAMA Grandtour travelled to Sicily to discover the best practices in management of arts and heritage sites.
