November 11, 2022: What a day it was for our MCF Graduates!
More than 100 people came together to celebrate our 2022 MCF Class, including relatives, friends, guests, faculty and staff!
New graduates were welcomed into the real world by MCF Founder Prof. Maurizio Dallocchio, and by the outstanding keynote speech of Mr. Matteo Lunelli, Chairman and CEO at Gruppo Lunelli - Ferrari Trento and Chairman of Fondazione Altagamma.
Both speeches focused on current economic volatility and uncertainty, and on a period of discontinuity where Finance must abandon the impatience of the past. To generate well-being for the entire system, we must now embrace a vision of Finance as an ancillary subject that is dedicated to manufacturing, selling products and offering services.
The world needs virtuous Finance that create values for both shareholders and communities, Mr. Lunelli explained. Finance must now include real responsibilities and ESG parameters in its decision making processes. Sustainability is non-negotiable, and must benefit people, places and communities. Each of us can make a positive contribution to both economic growth and collective well-being. Each one of us can be a good steward of the planet. And each one of us can make a real difference.
Mr. Lunelli ended his speech by inviting all our students to follow their dreams, to be passionate, to listen to their instincts, to find and follow their talents, to not settle for less, and to go after what really inspired them.
As Albert Einstein once said: “The most important motive for work in the school and in life is pleasure in work, pleasure in its results, and the knowledge of the value of the result to the community”!
