Biografia
Thomas Le Barbanchon è Professore Ordinario di Economics presso l'Università Bocconi. In precedenza ha lavorato come Economista presso l'Istituto Nazionale di Statistica francese e presso il Ministero del Lavoro.
La sua ricerca è focalizzata sull'economia del lavoro, con un'attenzione particolare alla ricerca e all'allineamento lavorativo, agli studi di genere, alla discriminazione e all'assicurazione sociale. È autore di numerosi articoli sui suoi argomenti di interesse. I suoi lavori sono stati pubblicati su riviste come il Journal of the European Economic Association, l'American Economic Journal: Applied Economics e il Journal of Public Economics, tra gli altri. Tra il 2021 e il 2024 è membro del consiglio eletto di The Review of Economic Studies e redattore associato di The Journal of the European Economic Association.
Ha conseguito un Dottorato in Economics presso l'École Polytechnique nel 2012 e una Laurea magistrale in Economics presso l'Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Ha ricoperto il ruolo di Visiting Associate Professor presso l'Università di Princeton e l'Università di Harvard.
