Biografia

Nicolas Serrano-Velarde è Professore Ordinario presso il Dipartimento di Finance dell'Università Bocconi. Dal 2020 è Research Professor presso l'Halle Institute for Economic Research e dal 2021 è Responsabile del Job Market Committee presso l'Università Bocconi. 

I suoi interessi di ricerca coprono una vasta gamma di argomenti in economia finanziaria. È autore di numerosi articoli sui suoi temi di interesse, i quali sono stati pubblicati su riviste come il Journal of Political Economy, The Review of Financial Studies e il Journal of Financial Economics, tra gli altri. 

Ha conseguito una Laurea magistrale in International Economics presso Sciences Po e un Dottorato in Economics presso l'European University Institute. Nel 2016 è stato Visiting Scholar presso il Dipartimento di Economia dell'Università di Harvard.
