Master in Food & Beverage Management | SDA Bocconi

Company Visits (included in the program)

Company visits are a unique opportunity to get in contact with successful firms and their top managers, learn from their experience, and visit their offices and plants. It is not only learning, but also networking and product tasting.

In the previous MFB editions, classes had the chance to make one-day visits in many companies such as:

  • AB InBev (VA)
  • Antinori (FI)
  • Carlsberg (VA)
  • Cloetta (CR)
  • Marco Colzani (LC)
  • Mauri Formaggi (LC)
  • Rovagnati (MB)
  • Vinitaly (VR)
  • Westin Palace and Excelsior Hotel Gallia (MI)

Other visits can be part of longer journeys (from 2 to 5 days), such as: Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, and Piedmont.

UNLEASH

UNLEASH is a global non-profit initiative (sponsored, among others, by UNDP, Microsoft, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, The Novo Nordisk Foundation, Deloitte, Dalberg), aiming to bring 1000 young talents together each year until 2030 to innovate and collaborate on new solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. The first event took place in Denmark from August 13th to August 21st, 2017, with the next editions moving to Silicon Valley, Singapore, Mumbai and New York. SDA Bocconi #MFB has been appointed as Knowledge Partner for the Food theme with 2 selected students: Liu (River) He and Agathe Lambert.

“UNLEASH Lab 2017 was an incredible professional and human experience. I learnt a lot about the current challenges in terms of sustainable development in the world and also about myself and what I would like to do in the future. The networking opportunity was amazing and the vivid UNLEASH community is a true asset for our future”.

Agathe Lambert, France | MFB 2017

For me, UNLEASH proves the potential and process to hit the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations Agenda 2030. It means global collaboration, disruptive innovation, and sustainable development to growth. So this August, UNLEASH made Denmark “a festival of disruptions”, 1000 global participants went through the innovation process of problem-framing, brainstorming, prototyping, testing, and pitching, building up more than 200 ideas within 10 days.”

Liu (River) He, China | MFB 2017

“It’s a once-in-a-lifetime occasion to be surrounded by 999 people coming from 129 countries, but all with the same commitment to make the world a better place to live. I met so many amazing people, but most of all amazing hearts and hopefully new friends. However, the most important lesson we learned is that Unleash was just a starting point, we will keep on working to make this big dream come true!”
