Acquisire competenze su finanziamenti, business plan e valutazione avanzata delle startup per concepire, lanciare e far crescere nuove imprese.
The opening of Call Tech Action Week at SDA Bocconi was so substantial that it turned into a sort of general assembly of the fintech sector, bringing together academia, industry players, regulators and policymakers.
During a meeting organized by Assofintech and the Innovation and Corporate Entrepreneurship Center (ICE) of SDA Bocconi, participants discussed skills, the future of financial services in Italy and Europe, and innovation, with a concrete focus on the challenges and opportunities that are shaping the evolution of the sector.
Taking part in the opening session were Stefano Caselli, Dean of SDA Bocconi, Alessia Cappello, Councillor for Economic Development and Labor Policies, and Layla Pavone, Coordinator of the Board for Technological Innovation and Digital Transformation of the Municipality of Milan.
“Initiatives like this,” professor Caselli said, “help us fully unlock the potential of technologies. They are not simple gadgets, but essential tools for redesigning organizations and creating development.”
Before a series of roundtables featuring the leading figures in Italy’s fintech landscape, ICE Director Gimede Gigante interviewed the President of INPS, Gabriele Fava, who described an INPS that is far more advanced and open to younger generations than is commonly believed. “We are reaching out to young people by speaking their own language,” Fava said.
The 2025 research of the European FS Tech Hub, the European platform on innovation, governance and evaluation, was also presented. The study aims to understand how to increase the value of Italian fintech by exploring initiatives under way across Europe.
Alongside Assofintech and ICE, Call Tech Action Week is promoted by Italian Proptech Network, Italian Insurtech Association and ItaliaFintech, with the partnership of the University of Milan, the media partnership of CreditNews, P&Co and TheZest, and the patronage of the Municipality of Milan.
