The Master in Corporate Finance (MCF) is an intensive 1-year program that equips its attendants with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in international finance management.
The program takes young participants and transforms them into capable and highly skilled finance professionals who take on substantial roles in companies and institutions around the world.
We spoke with one MCF Alumna to share her success story.
Mariyam Bouchaab is currently Head of Acquisition, Sales & Marketing at Lusail Holding in Doha.
The journey to get there took her through different countries: from Morocco, through Switzerland and Italy, all the way to Qatar.
After a double degree in Hospitality management from Glion Institute of Higher Education, she found the MCF program at SDA Bocconi to be the perfect opportunity to take her abilities to the next level.
MCF was an unparalleled learning experience that has certainly shaped my professional development and widened my perspective of my career path and plans. After graduating and working in hospitality, I considered a transition into finance, and I didn't see a better launching pad than the MCF program. Given the comprehensive and fast-paced environment of MCF, coming to SDA Bocconi was a wise choice and a perfect bridge for me as I embarked on this transition since it helped open new doors of opportunities in the finance world. MCF was a well-organized and structured program that employed academic and project-based learning and welcomed the brightest industry experts who provided unwavering support, great guidance and advice throughout the program.
My other biggest takeaway from my MCF experience was the holistic cultural exposure we received under the beautiful Milanese sky. I am grateful for my year in MCF because it gave me a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to immerse myself in Milan and meet great people from different educational and cultural backgrounds.
