MCF - Master in corporate finance
“Act responsibly and cautiously as guardians of your investors’ capital; your investors and your partners will trust you”: that’s the key message that the Ardian team shared with the Master in Corporate Finance students during their inspiring company presentation.
On Friday, March 11th, SDA Bocconi School of Management had the pleasure to host the Ardian team based in Milan, represented by professionals from the Buyout, Expansion, Growth, Infrastructure and Real Estate teams. The event, organized by the MCF Director Federico Pippo and the Bocconi alumna Elisabetta Bozzoni Pantaleoni (Senior Investment Manager - Ardian Expansion), also included contributions from Bertrand Shapiro (Managing Director - Ardian Growth), Nadine Zaffira (Senior Investment Manager -Ardian Buyout), Roberto Curletti (Senior Investment Manager - Ardian Real Estate), Greta Chielli (Investment manager - Ardian Infrastructure) and Marco Monaco (Analyst - Ardian Infrastructure).
With 3 main panels, focused on Buyout/expansion/growth, Real Estate and Infrastructure, Ardian teams highlighted their corporate culture and values, investment strategies and day-to-day activities, and how to approach the recruitment process. The event ended with a networking aperitivo at SDA Bocconi Caffetteria where the MCF candidates had the chance to directly interact with the guests.
Master in Corporate Finance students had the unique opportunity to talk to Ardian staff, gaining insights about the company and a clear picture of what a career in one of the biggest and most prestigious private equity firms looks like. On top of that, they could also learn which skills, knowledge and competences are required to excel at the top of such a challenging industry: work ethic, spirit of initiative, strong commitment and motivation.
