LG Electronics, a world-class leader company and tech innovator in consumer electronics, and SDA Bocconi School of Management are kick starting “LG Italia & SDA Bocconi Corporate Academy”, a partnership to strengthen and boost the skills of LG managers and professionals in line with the new challenges coming with the Digital Transformation.
Digital has recently become even more central following the changes brought about by the Covid-19 health emergency, and this has pushed companies to rethink and innovate their digital skills. The first step at LG Italia & SDA Bocconi Corporate Academy will therefore be a customized course to train LG employees in the Marketing & Sales area about “The Customer Centric Journey”. This initiative is the first step in a much wider growth process to prepare LG professionals for the challenges of the future.
“The Customer Centric Journey” program is led by Sandro Castaldo, Full Professor of Marketing at Bocconi University, Scientific Director of the Channel & Retail Lab and Scientific Supervisor of the Executive Master in Marketing & Sales. The course combines a theoretical learning of concepts, models and work methods with “action learning” sessions to put them into practice. The course aims at honing the participants’ skills in the light of the growing importance of digital channels also in e-commerce, and providing them with the tools to assess the projects about digital touch points and negotiate about them with external partners, thus spreading a shared digital culture among LG employees.
The training is based on both webinars and on-campus training days, and is going to start in the first week of September.

A historical hallmark of the company’s philosophy, this is also a proactive approach to change that can boost the skills of employees and offer high-end innovative solutions to customers.
LG Italia & SDA Bocconi Corporate Academy is part of a wider partnership between LG Electronics and SDA Bocconi that also includes cooperation at an international level to develop new strategic, managerial and tech skills and to offer a series of webinars to all European managers.
