Pierpaolo Ferrari is Affiliate Professor of Banking and Insurance at SDA Bocconi School of Management. He is Full Professor of Financial Markets and Institutions at University of Brescia. From the academic year 2008/2009 until now, he has kept the course of Securities Markets at Bocconi University.
His collaboration with SDA Bocconi began in 1996. He conducted research and training projects with important enterprises. He is the director of OSSFIN Observatory within Research Division of SDA Bocconi School of Management.
His research activities focus on asset management; financial institutions performance measurement; capital management in banks and financial institutions; tax planning in private banking.
He is the author of numerous books and articles on the subject. He is author of the following books: “Asset management and institutional investors”, “Economia della Banca”, “Liquidity risk management”, “La raccolta bancaria diretta”, “L’ora dei capitali”, and many others. He is also author of book chapters and scientific articles published on national and international journals. He is a member of ABF Committee at Bank of Italy, Milan. He was visiting scholar at New York University.
Pierpaolo earned a 4-year Degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in the academic year 1993-94 and a Ph.D. in Financial Markets and Institutions from the University of Siena in the academic year 1998-99.
