Biography
Maria Cristina Arcuri is Fellow of Banking and Insurance at SDA Bocconi School of Management. She is Assistant Professor in Banking and Finance at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Parma.
At SDA Bocconi Maria Cristina conducted numerous research, training and consulting projects with Alleanza Assicurazioni, Assofin, A1 Life, Capgemini, Generali, Intesa SanPaolo, Italiana Assicurazioni, Leonardo Assicurazioni, Solyda, UniCredit and many others. Her research activities focus on asset management, corporate governance, cyber risk, financial markets and institutions, retirement and insurance, risk management. She is the author of numerous articles and books on these subjects. Maria Cristina won the ICFA 2019 - 21st International Conference on Finance and Accounting Best Presentation Award.
Maria Cristina earned a Degree in Finance and Risk Management from University of Parma and a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Maria Cristina is a member of the Associazione dei Docenti di Economia degli Intermediari Finanziari (ADEIMF) and she is Editorial Board member of Economics, Management, and Financial Markets.
