FRANCOIS VILLEROY DE GALHAU, GOVERNEUR DE LA BANQUE DE FRANCE, WILL BE THE PROTAGONIST OF A DISCUSSION WITH STUDENTS ON THURSDAY, 14 MAY

It's an event too important to be canceled or postponed, especially given the utmost current relevance of the topics discussed in the talk. "Also it was heĀ who asked us to keep it in the program, albeit in a virtual mode", saysĀ Stefano Caselli,Ā Bocconi Dean of International Affairs, and co-moderator ofĀ Ā "A Conversation with FranƧois Villeroy de Galhau, Governor of the Banque of France", scheduled forĀ Thursday, 14 May and starting at 3:00pm.

The meeting, reserved for students of the Bocconi Master of Science in Finance and International Management and of the SDA Bocconi School of Management MBA, after a welcome from RectorĀ Gianmario Verona, will be introduced by Dean Stefano Caselli and co-moderated by the director of the MBAĀ Francesco Daveri. "The issues dealt with by the head of one of the main European central banks will be the roles of the ECB and of national central banks in the functioning of the euro system as a whole, at a time of great difficulty for Europe", explains Caselli.

The talk, originally scheduled to be held in a University lecture hall, will be held online via the Blackboard platform and is divided into a first part devoted to a speech by Governor Villeroy de Galhau and a second part where graduate students can ask the central banker questions and raise issues.
