Back to School in the new decade, the MBA 45 (Class of 2020) has plunged back into their intense MBA schedule: Core Courses & Special Seminars, Extracurricular Activites and meetings with top guest speakers and inspirational leaders.

The sequence of core courses has led students towards Term Four (January-February) and its outcomes - participants are continuing their MBA journey and adding new pieces to the knowledge paths beaten until now, while opening new ones:

  • a special focus on corporate sustainability, to complement and broaden students' strategy skills; a course to extend operations skills and competencies; a further insight on people management issues to endow participants with tools to manage others, complementing prevoius work on managing yourself. Last but certainly not least, a rich case-based analysis and practice of how things change when managerial choices are taken under uncertainty.

A supplementary offer of courses and seminars is intended to further sharpen and complement practical knowledge:

  • Macroeconomics in Action with a host of external speakers and practitioners from many parts of the world, with their views on future scenarios in China, Brazil, Argentina, the European Union, the UK under Brexit and the United States.
  • Mindfulness, to complete the first bits of this course, offered in December.
  • Entrepreneurship Path's kick-off (the course is to be taught in the Spring).

At the same time, the Program Beyond the Program continues to host distinguished speakers. A non-exhaustive list for the next few months includes Andrea Sironi (Chairman, Italy's Stock Exchange, and former rector, Bocconi), Domenico Siniscalco (VP, Morgan Stanley, and former minister of the Economy, Italy), Philippe Bordenave (Coo, BNP Paribas) and Sofia Goggia (alpine ski racer, downhill Olympic Gold 2018).

What's more and what's next? Exchange Program Kick-of Presentation, ongoing Club Activities (Find your Place in Healthcare Event, Private Equity vs. Investment Banking Working in Finance Sessions, OUT-of-Office: Stories That Matter, featuring working professionals who have come OUT in their careers, Luxury & Arts Club first Industry Chat, 16th Annual MBA Ski Cup in Bormio).

For people who just won't stop.
