The first half of the Diploma Programs in Sports Management and Major Events Management in Doha (Qatar), delivered by SDA Bocconi for Josoor Institute, ended last week.

During the first three blocks 100 participants, from 25 different countries and resident in Qatar, have been exposed to state-of-art contents in the fields of Sports Management and Major Events Management.

SDA Bocconi carried on multiple in-class activities, guest speakers sessions (both regional and international) and company visits in the headquartes of the most relevant actors of Qatar Sports Ecosystem (Aspire Academy, Khalifa Stadium and Al Kass Sports Channels). International Guest Speakers like Javier Zanetti (FC Internazionale), Cinzia Catalfamo (FIFA), Marco Rota (Infront), Andrea Bassani (Euroleague), Jane Fraser (Executive Producer in international major events) and Adam Crothers (F1) brought in class their extensive experiences at the highest level in order to explain how managerial theories are successfully implemented in the international sport ecosystem.

The initiative is designed and managed by Dino Ruta, Academic Director, with the support of the Program Directors Deborah Raccagni and Antonio Palmieri.

The fourth block will be in Doha in the first week of September.
