SDA Bocconi enters the Chinese market with an Executive MBA
The Shanghai based programme for managers starts in October. SDA Bocconi School of Management consolidates its position as a leading international business school with the launch of a new Executive MBA programme which will debut this October in Shanghai.
The programme relies on the collaboration of lecturers from Jiao Tong University and on CO-THINKING Education Group, a Chinese company specialised in providing and promoting educational programmes, for coordination and technical support.
The EMBA will be in both English and Chinese and will guarantee that participating managers will receive recognition from the involved institutions.
The 16-month programme will include significant participation in Shanghai from professors of SDA Bocconi and offers essential courses and seminars on advanced management topics including finance, marketing, competitive strategy and data analysis, as well as elective courses covering topics such as the luxury industry 4.0, digital competition and investment banking. The programme will include a study tour in Italy for course participants.
“The Chinese market for management training is particularly important given the growth and expansion of Chinese companies and multinationals that operate in China”, stressed Marco Tortoriello, director of SDA Bocconi Master Division. “For SDA Bocconi to operate directly in a country that plays an ever more important role among the major global economies means being able to provide managers with training that combines the best of European and Italian knowledge and tradition with that of China”.
