Daniela Preite is Affiliate Professor of Government, Health and Not for Profit at SDA Bocconi School of Management. She is Aggregate Professor of Business Administration and Management at the University of Salento. She is Professor of Historical Studies at the University of Milan.

At SDA Bocconi, she is Coordinator for the Network Conti&Controlli nelle Amministrazioni Pubbliche (NETCAP XIII Ed.). She conducted research and training projects with some important public institutions, non-profit organizations and major enterprises.

Her research activities focus on various fields, including accounting and budgeting, programming and control, performance management, accountability and social balance, profit / nonprofit and public / nonprofit partnership and human resource management.

She is the author of many publications, among which “Azienda non profit e relazioni interistituzionali per il management dei sistemi territoriali” edited by Editoriale scientifica; “La contabilità pubblica come sistema di governo. Lineamenti economico-aziendali e processo di armonizzazione” edited by Cedam; “Il ciclo della sostenibilità negli enti locali. Teorie e strumenti per il management pubblico” edited by Giappichelli and “Misurare la performance nelle amministrazioni pubbliche. Logiche, metodi, strumenti ed esperienze”, edited by Egea. She took part in many national and international conferences. She is editorial board member and referee for specialized magazines such as Mecosan, Rivista dei Dottori Commercialisti, Azienda Pubblica and Non Profit. She has worked abroad with the Moscow Academy of Economics and the University of York. Member of Italian Academy of Business Administration and Management. She is Vice Chairman of Coop Lombardia which operates in the sector of large-scale retail trade, of which she is also a member of the Financial Committee.

Daniela earned a Degree in Economics and Banking, cum laude at the University of Lecce and a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management at the University of Bari. She is Chartered Accountant and is a member of the Registry of Auditors Accountants. She is also the author of essays on personal growth.
