Bhaskar Ramachandran

Bhaskar Ramachandran currently serves as the Global Vice President and Chief Information Officer for PPG Industries, Inc., a Pittsburgh based leading paint, coatings, and specialty products company. He is responsible for enabling PPG’s business strategy through IT, Digital and its Cybersecurity programs. Bhaskar serves on the SAP AG, Executive Advisory Board. He also serves as an independent Director and on the Nomination and Governance, Risk, Compensation and Benefits committees of the Board of S&T Bank (Nasdaq: STBA), based in Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining PPG, Bhaskar was Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Jabil’s electronic manufacturing services division that delivered over $16 billion of revenue through business-to-business supply chains and contract manufacturing services for major brands such as Amazon, Tesla, Apple, Cisco, NCR and HP. During his 6 years at Jabil, he led the division’s manufacturing information technology transformation strategy from on- premises to a fully cloud-based connected ecosystem to make manufacturing more efficient and cost effective. Bhaskar was also responsible for Jabil’s digital strategy and execution to convert and consolidate its enterprise resource planning solutions to a cloud-based SAP S/4HANA platform and to standardize and consolidate human resources processes through a Workday software implementation.
Prior to Jabil, Bhaskar spent over 8 years, at Textron, Inc., including as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Textron Systems, its defense and intelligence segment. Bhaskar worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers / IBM Management Consulting Services from February 1999 to June 2007, in their SAP practice implementing SAP enterprise software for pharmaceutical, retail and manufacturing clients, and was an independent consultant before that.
Bhaskar holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Madras University and an advanced diploma in Systems Management from India.
