Mr. Mazzola is an accomplished security executive with over twenty-five years of experience managing global cyber security centers, building enterprise risk management programs and leading distributed cross-functional teams. He currently serves as a Director for a Big 4 consulting firm, and has held several executive and senior leadership roles with global Fortune 500 companies overseeing enterprise security programs. His focus areas include cyber defense, security strategy, technology portfolio management, security operations center (SOC) management, incident response, threat intelligence, enterprise risk management, zero trust, eDiscovery, vulnerability management, cyber analytics, data science and security engineering. Cory has served in leadership and advisory positions with industry-leading organizations such as the U.S. Air Force, IBM, Verizon, General Dynamics, Computer Sciences Corporation, FireEye / Mandiant, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Amgen, University of Maryland and the Royal Bank of Canada. Formerly, he served as a Professor with the University of Maryland, Management Instructor with SANS Institute, Instructor at Amgen University and Senior Advisor for the Cyber Education Project (CEP). He holds a Master of Science in Information Assurance, Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management and several leading industry certifications - GIAC/GPEN, CISSP, C|CISO, MCSE, etc.
