Valentina Tartari

Valentina Tartari is Jacob and Marcus Wallenberg Professor of Innovative and Sustainable Business Development at the Stockholm School of Economics.
 

Prior to this she was an Associate Professor in Economics and Management of Innovation, Department of Strategy and Innovation, Copenhagen Business School (Denmark). Member of CBS Ethical Committee (since 2020). Her research focuses on the determinants of knowledge production and transfer, inside and outside academia. Specifically, I study how academic researchers produce scientific knowledge and how this knowledge is transferred to industry and society at large. She is also interested in the role universities have in stimulating local entrepreneurship. Her work has been published in leading innovation and management journals, such as the Academy of Management Journal, Research Policy and the Journal of Management Studies. She is an officer of the DRUID society and a member of the executive committee of the SEI (Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Innovation) Consortium.
