Extra-curricular activities

Seminars and workshops as well as cultural, leisure and team-building opportunities provide new perspectives and challenges. These activities are not considered “extra–curricular” but essential dimensions of the MAMA Program, as they help to redefine soft-skills and broaden contacts and experiences. Most of these activities are done and organized together with MBA and Executive MBA programs.

Extra–curricular activities include:

  • Club activities: practical laboratories for new ideas, networking opportunities, and for putting managerial skills to the test.
  • Sports activities, in Italy and abroad: Rolex MBA's Conference & Regatta, MBA Ski Cup, MBA Golf Challenge, MBA Tournament, MBA November Tournament and soccer competitions.
  • European Business Plan Competition among top international B-Schools.
  • Free access to all Bocconi University programming including: concerts, conventions, conferences, art exhibitions, charity events.

The Bea Bongiasca Competition held by the Luxury Arts and Management Consulting Club aimed to provide a platform to students from different programs (MBA, MAFED and MAMA) to come together and use the skills garnered thus far to gather a deeper understanding of the luxury industry. We also wanted the project to be a platform to help foster the growth of emerging talent in the country. This year students developed a business plan that evaluated jewellery designer Bea Bongiasca place in the market and suggested avenues for growth.
