Curriculum Vitae

Gabriella Bagnato is SDA Professor of Leadership. Since January 2017, she is Leadership, Organization and Human Resources Faculty Deputyat SDA Bocconi School of Management. She is Director of Master in Organization and Human Resources Management (Master OP) at Bocconi University.

She works with SDA Bocconi since 1993; between2004 and 2005, she was HR Development assistant. She is responsible for open market initiatives for developing managerial and leadership skills, she designs development paths for high potential, middle managers and executives of Italian and international companies operating in various sectors, from the pharmaceutical to the editorial industry. She teaches in open market initiatives and custom programs on the themes of leadership, change and individual learning, of teamwork, of one on one and one on many communication and of talents andexecutive’s identification and selection. Certified coach, she conducts executive coaching supporting mainly effective transition management in managerial and leadership roles in increasing complexity.

Her research and design activities of new content and formats for management development focus on the issues of responsible leadership for engagement and sustainable value creation (value added performance, ethics and supporting the wellbeing) according to the paradigms of Positive Psychology, learning and personal change, leadership development and coaching in support of staffing that maximizes the person-organizationfit.

She is the author of numerous articles and publications on the topics of assertiveness, leadership and staffing. She has been lecturer at the IOBTC conference held at the University of Capetown South Africa and the Cleveland University USA; and in numerous events on the themes of work and career development. She is Affiliate of Columbia University Coaching Certification Program since 2015.

Gabriella earned a Degree in Political Sciences, specializing in international economics and politics and many Masters including the Master in Training of Trainers at ISMO (Milan); the three-year course in Counseling Empowerment Oriented at SistemaCounseling in Milan credited SICO and EAC. She obtained the validation for the course Inspiring Leadership thorough Emotional Intelligence at Case Western University; the Columbia Coaching Certification Program; the course for certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator, CPP in New York and the license to the use of the Big Five Questionnaire at OS Florence.
