Attending the program entails a significant amount of financial commitment but always repays itself with a wide margin. The SDA Bocconi's MIHMEP is an intensive program requiring a hefty investment in time and money.

Fees and expenses

    The total fee for the MIHMEP 2026-2027 program is € 30,000 to be paid in five installments
  • First installment

    € 3,500
    upon acceptance of admission offer to the Master Program

  • Second installment

    € 7,500
    by 30 October 2026

  • Third installment

    € 7,500
    by 18 December 2026

  • Fourth installment

    € 7,500
    by 26 February 2027

  • Fifth installment

  • Admission process fee: €120

    • All teaching material
    • Access to SDA Bocconi’s facilities

    Participants must provide their own laptop.
     

    Fees do not include 

    Accommodation or living expenses. Personal expenses will vary significantly depending on your lifestyle. 

    In general, the cost of living in Milan is comparable to that of other major European cities. We aim to provide you with a forecast of monthly expenses as experienced by MAMA students in recent years: 

    • Housing: € 800 - 1500 
    • Meals: € 450 
    • Transports: € 100 
    • Misc. Expenses: € 350

    Total: 1.700-2.400 €

Each year, SDA Bocconi School of Management makes multiple merit-based scholarships and tuition waivers available for outstanding candidates, thanks to the ongoing support of companies, organizations, alums, and current students.

Applications are evaluated according to the following criteria:

  • Analysis of the requirements indicated in the specific notice of competition
  • Analysis of academic and professional records 
  • Results of the MIHMEP selection process 

To be eligible for a tuition waiver, applicants must:

  • Submit their application for the MIHMEP 2026-2027 program
  • Review the pre-requisites for each tuition waiver
  • Flag the tuition waiver option through the online application portal by the indicated deadline 

Important:  

  • Applicants will only be considered eligible for a tuition waiver after completing the MIHMEP application, including the online form and all supporting documents. 
  • You can apply for scholarships and tuition waivers even if your selection process is still in progress. However, only admitted candidates will be evaluated for the awarding of a tuition waiver or scholarship. 
  • If you meet multiple requirements, you may apply for more than one scholarship or tuition waiver.
     

Participants are encouraged to explore various funding opportunities available in different countries, such as employer sponsorships or scholarships provided by private foundations, international organizations, or local governments.

Tuition waivers MIHMEP 2026-2027

Grants of between 10% and 25% of the cost of the program can be awarded upon admission to our MIHMEP. 

In order to apply for these grants, please select "Partial Merit-Based Tuition Waiver" from the list of Scholarships you want to apply for. We have a total budget of €30,000 for these grants, so we recommend you apply early if you want to be considered. 

Even if you are awarded a smaller grant, you can still compete for our larger grants covering up to 50% to the entire cost of the program. They are awarded in four rounds over the year.

    Programma di borse di studio Jean Monnet

    MIHMEP is one of SDA Bocconi’s Master programs listed as eligible by the Jean Monnet EU scholarship scheme (JM). The JM scholarship is awarded to Turkish citizens willing to join EU universities (1-year full-time Master programs taught in English).     Loans and funding

    The School assists candidates with their search for funding by supplying the necessary documentation and encouraging them to explore all scholarship and loan possibilities. SDA Bocconi provides opportunities for low-interest loans to admitted students (International students, Italian students), thanks to agreements with partner banks. Loan applications must be submitted by the end of month that follows your Master starting date.
