Attending the program entails a significant amount of financial commitment but always repays itself with a wide margin. The SDA Bocconi's MIHMEP is an intensive program requiring a hefty investment in time and money.

Personal Expenses: Of course, personal expenses will vary significantly depending on each individual's lifestyle. Based on recent input from students, we aim to provide an accurate estimate of monthly personal expenses, which typically range between €2,000 and €2,500.
Scholarships and tuition waivers
Each year, SDA Bocconi School of Management makes multiple merit-based scholarships and tuition waivers available for outstanding candidates, thanks to the ongoing support of companies, organizations, alums, and current students.
Applications for tuition waivers are evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Analysis of academic and professional record
- Analysis of the requirements indicated in the specific notice of competition
- Results of the MIHMEP selection process
To be eligible for a tuition waiver, applicants must:
- Submit their application for the MIHMEP 2027-2028 program
- Review the pre-requisites for each tuition waiver
- Apply for the tuition waiver, once available and if required, on the online Application Portal by the indicated deadlines (multiple applications are allowed).
The tuition waivers will be awarded during the selection process and no later than the starting date of the MIHMEP 2027-2028 Program.
Tuition waivers for candidate Athletes
SDA Bocconi School of Management is also making available 2 merit-based tuition waivers of € 20,000 each to all 2027/28 Full-Time Specialized Masters’ candidates with an outstanding athletic background who can offer clear evidence of significant athletic activities (preferably in one of these 3 sports: basketball, volleyball and waterpolo) at a competitive level, such as participation in or selection for competitions or tournaments organized at national or international level prior to the date of enrollment.
Tuition waivers MIHMEP 2027-2028
Grants ranging from 10% to 50% of the total program tuition fee may be awarded upon admission to our MIHMEP program or by the deadlines specified in the relevant notices of competition here below.
All admitted candidates are automatically considered for the “Partial Merit-Based Tuition Waiver” without the need to apply separately. To be considered for tuition waivers other than those mentioned above, candidates must apply for them when completing the online application by the deadlines specified in the relevant notice of competition.
Tuition waivers are typically awarded before the start of the program. If a higher tuition waiver is awarded, any previously awarded tuition waiver will be withdrawn. Admission to the MIHMEP program is independent of the awarding of any tuition waiver.
Loans and funding
The School assists candidates with their search for funding by supplying the necessary documentation, and encouraging them to explore all scholarship and loan possibilities. SDA Bocconi partners with a number of financial institutes offering low-interest loans to admitted and eligible students. Our partner institutes are:
- Lendwise for international students;
- Italian Banks for Italian and international students (please note that applications for loans issued by Italian Banks must be submitted by the end of the month following the starting date of your Master);
- Bocconi offers Support Programs to student-athletes who participate in sport competitions at regional, national and international level. Find out more here
