RUP - Il responsabile unico del progetto

The Unique Project Manager, a strategic and future-oriented figure as an agent of change for PA
Advanced training course for the qualification of contracting authorities
The increasing complexity of public investment projects requires Contracting Authority Project Managers (RUPs) who can do more than ensure regulatory compliance. Today's RUPs must be able to lead processes, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and support strategic decision-making throughout the entire project lifecycle. Under the Italian Public Contracts Code, the RUP has become a key figure in strengthening the capabilities of contracting authorities and enabling public organizations to deliver works, services, and supplies effectively.
This program provides an integrated perspective on the RUP role, combining legal, organizational, and managerial capabilities with practical tools in Project Management and Construction Management through a highly applied learning approach based on real-world cases and field experience.
Specifically, this program will enable you to:
- Lead the Contracting Authority Project Manager (RUP) role throughout the entire public procurement lifecycle, from planning and procurement to contract execution, within the framework of the Italian Public Contracts Code.
- Integrate legal, organizational, and managerial capabilities to coordinate complex investment projects, public works, services, and supplies.
- Apply Project Management, Construction Management, risk management, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and operational planning tools to improve project delivery, quality, and control.
- Assess and manage Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and Project Finance initiatives by interpreting the latest regulatory framework and public-private collaboration models.
- Strengthen your leadership capabilities in managing stakeholders, project teams, and Permanent Organizational Structures (SOS), contributing to the qualification and effectiveness of contracting authorities.
This program qualifies toward the 40 training hours required under the Zangrillo Directive.
The program is part of the "Management course for processes implementing public works and infrastructures” (GePROPI) competency area of the Government Academy. Explore all programs and contact us to create a customized education pathway. For more information Learn more
