PPP per investimenti e servizi pubblici

Building public-private partnerships for sustainable investments and services
The gradual conclusion of the extraordinary investment cycle under Italy's National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), together with the growing importance of public-private collaboration in addressing national and local challenges—from affordable housing and energy retrofitting of public assets to healthcare, sports infrastructure, utilities, and transportation—is making Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), in their various forms, an increasingly strategic tool for delivering investments and transforming public services.
Within the evolving regulatory framework, PPPs require a multidisciplinary set of capabilities spanning strategy, law, economics, and finance, both for public institutions and private-sector organizations.
For more than 25 years, this program has been a leading reference point in Italy for developing expertise in Public-Private Partnerships. Built on SDA Bocconi's research and the country's most significant PPP projects, it provides the integrated perspective needed to address both the opportunities and complexities of PPPs with rigor and confidence.
Specifically, this program will enable you to:
- Understand the strategic role of Public-Private Partnerships in the post-PNRR landscape and their contribution to investment, innovation, and the development of public services.
- Develop the capabilities required to structure and manage PPP projects as a driver of innovation, as well as a financing mechanism.
- Understand how to manage privately initiated PPP proposals in light of the recent ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
- Acquire practical tools and methodologies developed through more than 25 years of research and field experience in a program widely recognized as a national and international benchmark for Public-Private Partnerships.
The program is part of the Government Academy’s "Public-Private Collaborations" area of expertise.
