There is no superinnovation without change
The second event of the “Idee per la Crescita” series, in collaboration with Affari&Finanza

Human ingenuity has always been just one ingredient of innovation. Teamwork, whether in startups or established companies, is another essential piece of the puzzle.
Today, however, we have entered the era of superinnovation, driven by advances in artificial intelligence, Gianmario Verona said during the event on innovation held as part of “Idee per la Crescita” (Ideas for Growth), an initiative organized in collaboration with la Repubblica Affari&Finanza.
To seize the opportunities created by growing computing power and the development of predictive algorithms, companies and institutions will have to bear a cost that goes beyond investing in new technologies. It is the cost of change, Professor Verona explained.
Companies will need to overcome internal resistance and integrate new technologies into their organizational processes, while institutions will primarily need to support the informed adoption of artificial intelligence throughout the education system.
The innovation event featured Luca D’Agnese, Director of Policy Evaluation and Advisory at Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, and Carmelo Mariano, AI Practice Leader at KPMG Italy.
