The SEE Lab partners with WIA-Europe

Women in Aerospace Europe promotes female talent and leadership at all levels of the European aerospace sector

SDA Bocconi’s Space Economy Evolution Lab (SEE Lab) and the non-profit organization Women in Aerospace Europe (WIA-Europe) announced a partnership aimed at combining their expertise and resources to advance research, promote diversity, and drive innovation in the space and aerospace sectors. Together, SEE Lab and WIA-Europe are committed to shaping the future of aerospace by fostering collaboration, empowering professionals, and creating opportunities for growth and development.

 

Luisella Giulicchi, President of WIA-Europe, said “We are thrilled to welcome SDA Bocconi as one of WIA-Europe's partners. The evolution of the aerospace sector requires skills beyond the technical and scientific ones. Both organizations strive to develop a competent workforce in an inclusive environment, aiming for excellence regardless of gender.”

WIA-Europe is a non-profit organization, committed to fostering diversity, inclusion, and excellence. It promotes female talent and leadership at all levels of the European aerospace sector, helps professionals and their organizations succeed, attracts young professionals to work in aerospace, and promotes STEM studies among younger generations. With a strong network of aerospace professionals, industry corporate members, partners, and regional presences across Europe, WIA-Europe realizes many programs and initiatives to the benefit of a vibrant and inclusive aerospace community.

 

The SEE Lab is an SDA Bocconi independent research center that offers a multidisciplinary perspective within the space sector: economic, technological, and policy factors are all integrated into its academic works. The SEE Lab is committed to training future leaders with out-of-the-box thinking, by generating and disseminating comprehensive knowledge on the key aspects of the space economy in the short, medium, and long term, at the global level. To accomplish its goals, the SEE Lab delivers strategic insights to private and public institutions to gauge the opportunities presented by the space sector.
