Biografia
Stefano Pogutz è Professor of Practice di Corporate Sustainability presso SDA Bocconi School of Management dove è Direttore del full-time MBA presso SDA Bocconi. Inoltre, è Strategic Advisor presso Bocconi 4 Innovation, pre-acceleratore e acceleratore dell’Università Bocconi.
Stefano ha condotto numerosi progetti di ricerca e formazione con Enel, One Ocean Foundation, Edison, Diesel, CDP. Ferrero e molti altri. Le sue attività di ricerca si concentrano su sostenibilità aziendale, gestione ambientale, responsabilità sociale d'impresa, investimenti ESG ed impact investing, gestione della tecnologia e dell'innovazione.
La sua attuale ricerca affronta tre temi principali. Il primo è lo sviluppo di modelli di business sostenibili e circolari. Il secondo si concentra sulla sostenibilità dell’oceano e dell’economia blu. Il terzo mira ad analizzare l’interdipendenza tra sistemi socio-ecologici e strategie aziendali. Le sue ricerche sono state pubblicate in libri e riviste internazionali peer-reviewed tra cui Ecological Economics, Organization & Environment, Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Business Ethics, AMBIO e Waste Management. Nel 2024 la ricerca internazionale Business for Ocean Sustainability, è stata premiata da Financial Times nella sezione “Responsible Business Education Awards”.
Stefano ha vinto numerosi premi per l'insegnamento presso l'Università Bocconi, tra cui l'Innovation for Teaching Award 2017, e nel 2019 ha vinto il CEMS Outstanding Contribution to the CEMS MIM Award per il corso "Model UNFCCC Climate Change Strategies Role Play". Stefano opera come revisore per diverse riviste internazionali. Stefano fa parte del Consiglio di Amministrazione e dell'Advisory Board di diverse società in Italia e all'estero. Dal 2018 è a capo del Comitato Scientifico della One Ocean Foundation.
Stefano ha conseguito la Laurea in Economia Aziendale presso l'Università Bocconi e un Dottorato di Ricerca in International Management - Innovazione, Servizi e Sostenibilità presso la Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Pisa. È sposato e ha due figli.
