Biografia

Stefano Breschi è Professore di Applied Economics dal 2011 ed è Direttore dell'Invernizzi Center for Research on Innovation, Organization, and Strategy (ICRIOS) presso l'Università Bocconi. Tra il 2004 e il 2010 è stato Direttore del programma MSc in Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology (EMIT) presso l'Università Bocconi. 

Attualmente è coinvolto in diversi progetti di ricerca, tra cui l'utilizzo dei dati di Twitter per valutare le strategie di presentazione nelle ricerche di finanziamenti di venture capital, gli inventori immigrati e la leadership tecnologica degli Stati Uniti nel XX secolo utilizzando IPUMS Census data, Job Titles and Mobility of Knowledge Workers and Chinese Returnees and Innovation: c'è un effetto sinergico?. È autore di numerosi articoli sui suoi argomenti di interesse, i quali sono stati pubblicati, tra gli altri, nel Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Evolutionary Economics e Journal of Economic Geography. 

Ha conseguito il Dottorato di ricerca presso l'Università di Pavia e una Laurea Magistrale in Technology Policy and Innovation Management, presso il MERIT, Università di Maastricht.
