Biografia

Monica Masucci è Affiliate Professor of Innovation presso la SDA Bocconi School of Management. È inoltre Professore Associato di Strategia e Imprenditorialità Aziendale presso il Department of Strategy and Marketing della University of Sussex Business School, nel Regno Unito, dove e' anche vice-direttrice di dipartimento.

Dal 2020 al 2025 è stata Head of Pre-Acceleration per Bocconi for Innovation, coordinando un programma di formazione destinato ad aspiranti imprenditori, ed attualmente ricopre il ruolo di Head of Institutional Partnerships ed Ecosystem Development. In SDA Bocconi è coinvolta nello sviluppo di programmi formativi personalizzati per grandi aziende ed insegna in corsi MBA e master. La sua attività di ricerca si concentra su temi quali l'imprenditorialita' ed innovazione aziendale, l’architettura industriale e le dinamiche degli ecosistemi, l’open innovation e l’economia creativa. Ha pubblicato capitoli di libri, articoli scientifici e report di ricerca su questi argomenti.

I suoi lavori sono apparsi in riviste internazionali quali Research Policy, Technovation e Small Business Economics. Ha ricevuto numerosi finanziamenti alla ricerca, oltre a premi per la didattica e per l’attività scientifica. Monica è inoltre Editor-in-Chief del Journal of Engineering and Technology Management e membro del Policy and Evidence Centre for the Creative Industries nel Regno Unito.

Ha conseguito un dottorato in Business Administration and Management presso l’Università Bocconi, dove ha ottenuto anche la laurea in Economia Aziendale.
