Biografia

Marta Widz è Professor of Practice di Family Business presso SDA Bocconi ed è una studiosa e consulente internazionale riconosciuta tra le principali esperte nel campo delle imprese familiari e dei family office. Con un approccio che unisce rigore accademico ed esperienza sul campo, affianca da anni famiglie imprenditoriali in Europa, America e Asia, supportandole nei percorsi di governance, sostenibilità e passaggio generazionale.

È fondatrice del Family Silver Institute, boutique advisory dedicata al governo delle famiglie imprenditoriali e alla gestione del patrimonio con finalità di lungo periodo, e collabora con istituzioni accademiche di primo piano come l’Università del Vermont e INSEAD. In passato ha contribuito a iniziative di ricerca e riconoscimento internazionale, tra cui l’IMD-Pictet Sustainability in Family Business Award, valutando le strategie di sostenibilità di gruppi come Decathlon, Velux e Sodexo.

Riconosciuta da Family Capital tra i Top 100 Family Influencers e i Top 20 Family Business Advisors, è entrata a far parte della Family Business Hall of Fame del Family Business United. Autrice di articoli, casi e capitoli di libri, è una voce autorevole nei principali network internazionali di ricerca e consulenza sul family business.

Con doppia cittadinanza svizzera e polacca, ha conseguito il dottorato all’Università di San Gallo e ha svolto attività di ricerca presso IMD Business School, lavorando a stretto contatto con famiglie imprenditoriali di rilevanza globale. La sua missione rimane quella di accompagnare le nuove generazioni a interpretare l’impresa familiare come strumento di crescita responsabile, sostenibile e orientata al futuro.
