Marianna Cavazza

Biografia

Marianna Cavazza è Associate Professor of Practice di Health Policy presso SDA Bocconi School of Management.

Presso SDA Bocconi Marianna coordina i corsi di assicurazioni sanitarie private presso i master MiMS (Master in Management della Sanità) ed il MIHMEP (Master of International Healthcare Management, Economics and Policy) e coordina il nework “Aziende associate CERGAS” che coinvolge diverse aziende farmaceutiche e di dispositive medici (e.g. Bayer, Novartis, Ipsen, Medtronic, Teva, Biogen etc. etc.). E’ inoltre membro dell’Osservatorio sui consumi privati in sanità (OCPS). Ha condotto corsi su assicurazioni sanitarie private e gestione e policy della ricerca clinica con clienti pubblici e privati del settore healthcare.

Le sue ricerche si focalizzano sui consumi privati in sanità e sulle assicurazioni sanitarie private, analisi organizzative e di costo nel settore healthcare ed analisi sulle politiche pubbliche quali ad esempio nell’ambito delle emotrasfusioni e in specifiche aree del settore farmaceutico. Le sue ricerche attuali sono indirizzate verso tre principali questioni: la prima si riferisce ai prossimi cambiamenti nel settore delle assicurazioni private sanitarie. La seconda è riferita alla relazione fra pubblico e privato nel settore sanitario nella prospettiva del disegno di nuovi servizi e dell’integrazione dei sistemi informativi. L’ultima è relativa all’organizzazione delle politiche pubbliche e coinvolge numerosi stakeholders ed i relativi strumenti di governance. I suoi lavori sono stati pubblicati, fra gli altri, su European Journal of Health Economics, Health Policy, PLOS ONE, the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Nutrition.

Marianna ha conseguito una laurea in Scienze Politiche dall’Università degli Studi di Milano, un master of science in Economia da University of York (UK) ed un PhD in Economia dall’ Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano. E’ sposata con due figli.
