Biografia

Mara Pascquamaria Squicciarini è Associate Professor di Economics presso l'Università Bocconi e ricercatrice affiliata presso il CEPR (Centre for Economic Policy Research ì), l'IGIER (Innocenzo Gasparini Institute for Economic Research) e il CESifo (Center for Economic Studies and Ifo Institute for Economic Research). I suoi interessi di ricerca riguardano la Storia Economica e la Crescita Economica, con un focus sul ruolo della religione, della cultura e del capitale umano per l'industrializzazione e il progresso economico. La sua ricerca è apparsa su riviste come l'American Economic Review, il Quarterly Journal of Economics e Science. Ha anche curato insieme ad altri il libro "Economics of Chocolate" (Oxford University Press). Ha conseguito un Dottorato in Economia presso l'Università di Leuven ed è stata ricercatrice postdottorale presso la Northwestern University e Visiting Scholar presso Harvard, Stanford e UCLA.
