Biografia
Leonardo Caporarello è Associate Dean for Online Learning e Professor of Practice of Leadership and Negotiation presso SDA Bocconi School of Management. La sua attività di ricerca, teaching e academic leadership si concentra su come leader, team e organizzazioni negoziano, decidono e apprendono in contesti complessi, internazionali e sempre più influenzati dall’intelligenza artificiale. Il suo profilo integra international and multicultural negotiation, organizational behavior and team dynamics, innovation in management education e AI-enabled learning. Ha maturato una consolidata esperienza di senior academic leadership. È stato Deputy Dean for Lifelong Learning di SDA Bocconi School of Management (2021-2022), Director del Learning Lab (2009-2021) e, presso l’Università Bocconi, ha ricoperto dal 2016 al 2026 gli incarichi di Rector’s Delegate for Digital Learning e Director of BUILT - Bocconi University Innovations in Learning and Teaching. Dal 2022 è Associate Dean for Online Learning di SDA Bocconi.
La sua attività internazionale comprende esperienze come Visiting Professor alla Keio University di Tokyo (Japan) e alla Fudan University di Shanghai (China) e come Visiting Scholar alla Michigan State University (USA). È faculty member di SDA Bocconi Asia Center a Mumbai (India) e si è specializzato in Leadership and Negotiation presso Harvard Law School (USA).
La sua attività di ricerca più recente riguarda negotiation in the age of AI, decision-making under uncertainty, team processes in dispersed settings e innovation in management education. Nel 2026 alcuni lavori sono stati pubblicati nel Journal of Management Inquiry e nel Journal of Innovation & Knowledge; parallelamente, sta sviluppando progetti su AI-driven negotiation e AI-enabled education. Tra i progetti editoriali forthcoming, è autore del libro “Il metodo Trump”, pubblicato nel 2027 da Egea, e editor del libro “Sustainable Advantage: Business Strategies That Drive Impact”, pubblicato nel 2027 da Emerald Publishing.
È Associate Editor del Journal of Contemporary Business Research, membro di editorial e advisory boards internazionali, Steering Committee Member dell’AI Negotiation Forum 2027, Scientific Committee Member della European Negotiation Conference e co-founder e Scientific Committee Member dell’EdTech Forum. I suoi contributi recenti collegano negotiation, artificial intelligence, team dynamics e innovation in management education. His work in management education has received international recognition from the Academy of Management and other international education networks.
