Hannes Wagner

Biografia

Hannes Wagner è Professore Associato di Finanza all'Università Bocconi, membro presso l’IGIER Institute for Economic Research e membro designato dell'ECGI (European Corporate Governance Institute).

È stato Visiting Professor presso London Business School e INSEAD. Alla SDA Bocconi, Hannes attualmente insegna in MBA. Hannes conduce ricerche incentrata sulla finanza aziendale, attivismo degli investitori, responsabilità sociale delle imprese, investitori istituzionali e cattiva condotta aziendale. La sua recente ricerca sulla gestione patrimoniale è stata sponsorizzata dal Government Pension Fund of Norway. Ha ricevuto numerosi premi, tra cui il Michael J. Brennan Runner Up Award 2020 per il miglior articolo pubblicato nella Review of Financial Studies sui veicoli segreti offshore svelato nei Panama Papers, il premio inaugurale 2015 AAM CAMRI in Asset Management per la sua ricerca sull'attivismo degli hedge fund, il premio 2012 della European Finance Association per il miglior documento della conferenza per la sua ricerca sulla performance delle imprese familiari durante la crisi finanziaria e il premio 2014 per il miglior documento in finanza aziendale presso la Southwestern Finance Association per la sua ricerca sulla remunerazione dei direttori esterni.

Hannes ha vinto numerosi premi per l'insegnamento mentre insegnava a dirigenti e non dirigenti presso la Bocconi, la Rotterdam School of Management, l'Università di Oxford, la Duisenberg School of Finance e l'Università di Monaco.

Nato in Germania, Hannes ha conseguito il Dottorato presso l'Università Ludwig Maximilans di Monaco. Vogatore appassionato, è sposato e ha due figli.
