PUBLIC TRANSPORATION

The area around SDA Bocconi is well served by public transport, which in Milano is operated by ATM. A ticket costs €2,00, it is valid for 90 minutes from when it’s first stamped and can be used on over ground lines as well as on underground and urban railway lines (S lines) in areas 1-3. Tickets, travel cards and season passes can be purchased from authorized newsagents and bar “tabacchi”. There are four underground lines in Milano: M1 (red), M2 (green), M3 (yellow), M5 (lilac). Trains operate from 6.00 am until 00.30 am: during the night there is an over ground replacement service for lines M1, M2 and M3.At Piazza Duomo underground station there is an ATM Point, where you can obtain information and buy tickets and season passes. AREA C & B

The center of Milano is a restricted traffic area named Area C and access by car is subject to a fee. The area coincides with the limited car free zone, entry is monitored by cctv cameras in 43 points, of which 7 are accessible to public transport only from Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm.Tickets to Area C can be purchased on www.atm.it/en

SDA Bocconi is located outside of Area C, but is within Area B, there is no fee to access, but it is off limits for some high polluting vehicles. For more details:click here
