Selection and admissions process
The admission requirements and selection process for the MCF program are designed to ensure strong alignment between the program and your aspirations. This rigorous approach aims to meet your expectations while providing a foundation for personal and professional growth.
We select candidates from diverse academic, cultural, and professional backgrounds, as this diversity enriches the learning experience at both the individual and group levels.
Our selection process involves a holistic evaluation of your application materials, considering key factors such as skills, professional experience, personal drive, and leadership and growth potential. Through this process, we aim to create a class of outstanding individuals who will benefit from the program—not only to achieve their career goals and personal aspirations but also to enrich their peers' learning experience.

What we need from you
The application must be filled out exclusively online and in English. It includes several short-answer questions, carefully designed to help us better understand your personal and professional experiences, and the reasons why you want to participate in our MBA program.
Admissions results
As soon as the selection process is completed, you will receive an official communication from the Admissions Committee. Selection results are never communicated by telephone. All decisions made by the Admissions Committee are final.
The selection process will result in one of the following outcomes:
- Admission: you will receive the official admission notification along with the relevant information about the next steps. If all available spots have been filled, the School may place you on a waiting list or offer admission for the following edition.
Admission to the program is valid for the year the application is submitted. However, you may request a deferral to the following year's intake, subject to approval by the Admissions Committee.
- Non-admission: Admission to the program is highly selective. Our selection process evaluates each candidate’s individual profile while also considering the overall composition of the MCF class, which must be consistent with the quality and diversity the School requires. While we acknowledge the significant effort all candidates invest in the application and the selection process, we do not provide personalized feedback to non-admitted candidates.

Please note that the application portal is a separate platform, so your SDA Bocconi website (www.sdabocconi.it) credentials are not to be used. Please proceed with a new registration.
- Official/original or certified degree certificate/transcript should be uploaded through the Application portal and submitted to the Admissions team.
- Official/original degree certificate/transcript can also be sent directly by the candidate’s University to admissions.mcf@sdabocconi.it
- Applicants may track the receipt of their application and monitor their application status directly on the online application portal.
- Additional documents can be uploaded after initial application submission.

We look for highly motivated candidates with well-defined goals
The MCF applications review runs from the 1 October 2026 to 10 June 2027. As soon as we receive your application, we carry out a pre-selection process based on the submitted documents. Once pre-selection is complete, we will let you know whether your application can proceed to the selection process.
The final selection results will be communicated according to the round deadlines.
